“This kid needed mental health counseling, not a new set of pronouns.”
Solving problems requires a willingness to acknowledge and address the underlying causes of those problems. One of the problems we face here in the US is a huge increase in kids suffering from severe mental health problems during the past 10 years. These problems include severe Depression and Suicidal thoughts. Another problem is an increase in school shootings – where kids and young adults fire dozens of bullets in a school in an attempt to kill as many children and teachers as possible. A third problem has been a rapid increase in kids joining the Trans Drug Cult – under the brainwashing of extremely misguided teachers and extremely corrupt politicians. In this article, we will review the connections between these three problems.
Trans Cult young man kills two small children in Minneapolis Catholic School
On August 27, 2025, a severely mentally ill 23-year-old man fired 116 bullets into a Catholic School in Minneapolis – killing two children ages 8 and 10 – and wounding 17 others, including 14 children. The young man then committed suicide by shooting himself in the parking lot behind the church.
The man’s birth name was Robert Westman. Westman suffered through a turbulent childhood and attended several different schools. In 2013, Westman’s parents got divorced. For five years, from 2016 through 2021, his mother worked at this Catholic school – which Robert attended until graduating from 8th Grade in 2017. He then attended an all boys Catholic school called Saint Thomas Academy.
On January 26, 2018, police were called to a townhouse in the Twin Cities suburb where Westman lived with his mother. The heavily redacted police report included a two-word description explaining why an officer was dispatched to that address: mental health.
Westman then attended a Minneapolis public school called Southwest High School where the math proficiency rate is only 42% and the reading rate is only 47% according to NCES. This high academic failure rate has led to a huge decline in enrollment. In 2021, Westman took a graduation photo but failed to appear for the graduation ceremony:
Six years before his killing spree, in 2019, Robert – who had suffered from Depression for years - decided he was really a girl. His mother helped him legally change his name from Robert to Robin.

It is important to understand that Minnesota, like Washington state, is a leader in promoting the Trans Drug Cult. In 2024, Minnesota Governor (and former Vice Presidential candidate) Tim Walz, signed an executive order making Minnesota a “Trans Sanctuary State” meaning that kids who traveling to Minnesota from other states can be given toxic Trans drugs without the knowledge or consent of their parents. (Washington is also a Trans Sanctuary State)
Two years earlier, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey signed Executive Order 2022-04 making Minneapolis a Trans Sanctuary City. It is important to understand that there is no scientific basis for any part of the Trans Drug Cult. It is all based on lies pushed by drug corporations that make billions of dollars selling toxic drugs, like Cross Sex hormones and puberty blockers, to victims of this Trans Drug Cult. It is also important to understand that kids who fall victim to the Trans Drug Cult almost always suffered from serious untreated mental health problems prior to deciding that they wanted to be a different sex. Sadly, 23 states have banned giving Counseling to Gender Confused kids. This is because corrupt politicians like Bob Ferguson and Tim Walz have falsely claimed that kids will kill themselves if you give them counseling instead of drugs. The “drugs only” states include Washington and Minnesota. The fine for providing a child with counseling to deal with their Gender Confusion in Washington is $5,000 plus loss of license!
While some claim that the motives for Westman killing kids is not clear, Westman left writings and videos that clearly explained his motives. Here are quotes from Westman:
“I have wanted this for so long. I am not well. I am not right. I am a sad person, haunted by these thoughts that do not go away. I know this is wrong but I can’t seem to stop myself. I am severely depressed and have been suicidal for years. Only recently have I lost all hope and decided to perform my final action against this world.”
“I’m tired of being trans, I wish I never brain-washed myself.”
“I think I am dying of cancer. It’s a tragic end as its entirely self-inflicted. I did this to myself as I cannot control myself and have been destroying my body through vaping and other means. I think I have lung cancer.”
“I don’t want to dress girly all the time but I guess sometimes I really like it. I know I am not a woman but I definitely don’t feel like a man.”
“Unfortunately, due to my depression, anger, and twisted mind, I want to fulfill a final act that has been in the back of my head for years.”
Six Trans School shooters in the past 8 years
Historically, much less than one percent of the US population has been Transgender. However, recent surveys have shown an explosion in the percent of gender confused kids since 2016 to the point that it is currently at least 3% and perhaps as much as 5% of all kids in our middle schools and high schools. There has also been a dramatic increase in the number of Trans School Shooters. Prior to 2018, I could not find a single incident of a Trans School Shooter. However, since 2018, there have been six Trans School Shooters in the past 8 years:
For example, in March 2023, Audrey Hale, a severely depressed person, murdered three children and three staffers in a shooting at Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee. Similar to Westman, Hale left behind a rambling manifesto hinting at severe depression and a desire to take her own life in an act of violence targeting innocent victims.
For years, I have written articles providing evidence and explaining why Transgenderism is a mental health problem and not a physical problem. I have warned that these kids need mental health counseling and not merely new pronouns. However, despite the above, some politicians still insist that Trans kids are no different from other kids and that with so many school shootings, some school shooters are bound to be Trans.
NBC has a website where they keep track of school shootings. According to their website, there have been 42 school shootings since 2018. Their tracker focuses on the segment of planned school shootings where an active shooter, with intent to harm, injures or kills at least one student or faculty member during school or at a school event. A child’s mental health problems are best resolved through counseling
A child’s mental health problems are best resolved through counseling to help the child understand the underlying cause of their problems.
A study of talk therapy found that 20 weeks of counseling reduced suicidal thoughts by 60 to 80%.
By contrast, giving kids drugs instead of counseling makes their problems worse
For example, a study of gender confused kids in Australia found that 89% of them suffered from mental health problems before being given Trans Drugs – and 88% still suffered from mental health problems after 4 years of being given Trans Drugs. So giving kids drugs does not solve their mental health problems. In fact, the drugs make their problems even worse!
Mental health problems need to be treated NOT normalized
The claim by the Trans Drug Cult is that it is perfectly normal for a boy to pretend to be a girl or a girl to pretend to be a boy is ridiculous. Study after study has shown that such kids have suffered about twice as many adverse events as normal kids – and that they have much more serious mental health problems than normal kids. These gender confused kids need counseling – not toxic drugs that only make their problems worse. This is a problem in states like Washington and Minnesota – where child counseling for gender confused kids is banned.
The good news is that Washington and Minnesota laws that ban child counseling will likely be overturned by the US Supreme Court this Fall 2025 in the case called Chiles v Salazar.

In deciding this case, the Supreme Court will also overturn Catholic Services v Whitmer and Ferguson v Tingley – both laws of which blatantly violate the first amendment rights of counselors and families.

It is time to prepare for the 2028 election here in Washington state
There is only one way to end the Trans Cult lies to our kids and parents. We need to work hard to organize parents, grandparents and other concerned citizens. We need to set up community news websites to get the truth out to Independent voters. The US Supreme Court can and will help us by overturning Tingley v Ferguson by the end of 2025. But we also need to do our part.
Ferguson and Reykdal are both currently ignoring the 2023 US Supreme Court decision in Students v Harvard and the 2024 US Supreme Court decision in Tennessee v Cardona. If we do not have a way of reaching Independent voters, they will also just ignore the coming Supreme Court decision in Chiles v Salazar. Our plan is to submit a comprehensive Family Rights Initiative to the People in either 2026 or 2028 that among many other goals, restores the right of gender confused kids to the child counseling they urgently need.
